TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) The Arizona Cardinals have signed receiver Damiere Byrd to a one-year contract.
Terms of the deal announced Tuesday were not disclosed.
Byrd spent the past four seasons with Carolina after joining the Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2015. He was on Carolina's practice squad as a rookie and played eight games last season before being placed on injured reserve.
The 26-year-old Byrd has 12 career catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns in 17 games. He also has 294 yards and a touchdown on 10 career kickoff returns and 113 yards on 12 punt returns.
Byrd set a Panthers record with a 103-yard kickoff return TD against Tampa Bay in 2017.
